a little about katherine
Katherine Abel is an actor from Cincinnati, OH. A graduate of Oklahoma City University, she has performed in productions around the U.S and internationally. Her production credits include The Marvelous Wonderettes, Bright Star, Bright Lights, Big City at The Den Theatre, directed by David Fiorello, Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley at Buffalo Ensemble Theatre as Anne de Bourgh, Fantine in Les Miserables in Italy alongside Felipe Bombonato, Lady Macbeth in Macbeth performed at Raven Theatre, and most recently, Sylvia in The Cottage.
She just finished understudying Kitty Bennet at Buffalo Theatre Ensemble in Georgiana and Kitty: Christmas at Pemberley and will soon start rehearsals for Company in April!
As a lover of comedy, she additionally is a micro theatre influencer on TikTok with millions of views over 11K followers- @katherinejanelleabel- where she can be found sharing her bold self tape choices!

Lady Macbeth at Raven Theatre
January 10-January 26, 2025
Katherine performed as the iconic role of Lady M, alongside Emma Mansfield for a queer retelling of the Scottish play for the premiere production of Production Productions theatre company in Chicago at the beautiful Raven Theatre.
